arnie
Luck is sometimes on your side and on this occasion that was definitely the case...
We were heading to the dump to feed the dogs there - it was boiling hot , rife with rubbish, mouldy food and soiled nappies And then this little tinker popped his head out from a pile of rubbish, wagging his tail and looking so happy to see people.
Obviously dumped there that morning, covered in ticks but SO friendly. What makes someone chuck their dogs there of all places? He would never survive... He had no idea what to do, where to go, what to eat. After building some trust with food, a makeshift lead was made from some plastic and he was saved.
Arnie is now safe and sound in our vet kennels, healthy and thriving. Medium to large sized and approximately 10 months. He is one of the most grateful dogs you could ever meet, he loves human affection and just wants to please.
Arnie has shown no issues with dogs in the kennels, but can sometimes be unsure of boisterous dogs. Out on lead he is perfectly fine walking with dogs, but in his new home to be calm in nature.
It is important to note, he is still an adolescent, so will need basic training but he's smart and intelligent.
An all round wonderful boy, who just needs his forever home now. Someone who will give him the life he truly deserves and show him that not all people are cruel Arnie could happily live in a home with children aged 5+, he is not jumpy.
