Lovely little Mondi is so amazing and has been waiting very patiently, watching the dogs she's brought up go to their homes but every time she seems to stay. She lives in the kennels at one of our rescuers homes and is around 7-8 years old (18kg).

She is small in height, but a proper curvy missy - making the most of her hips! 

Mondi can live with dogs but will need some time for the introductions and to become friends (this may be a process of several weeks with a resident dog)

She lives very nicely with cats of all sizes and age, so would suit an older persons home with cats.

One thing to be aware of is that she doesn't like other animals in her food, people are fine to come take give food and treats - she is never grabby or possessive but the survival instinct towards other dogs remains. She is absolutely fine if fed separately, which we recommend for all dogs anyway! 

She is good with kids, however she is not a lap dog or the character that likes being smothered, hugged on the sofa or picked up. Therefore we would suggest she is better in a home without children constantly coming and going - perhaps a retired person/people with visiting children sometimes. 
She will be very happy with a few toys, belly rubs at all times and to occasionally sit next to you on the sofa.

The ideal home for her would be a retired couple or single person who will devote her plenty of time in the day, will offer space for her to adjust and most importantly will hand feed and provide stability and patience.
