Shandy

Shandy was found when she wandered into one of our rescuerers yards after being constantly chased by big male dogs on the street whilst she was on heat. She was trying to reach safety, shaking like a leaf. We agreed to spay her with the intention of letting her roam the streets again (as that was what she was used to), but this girl so so loving and would thrive in a home. She snuggled up in our rescuers porch on bedding and that was it!
We are determined to get this girl a loving home with a comfy bed to curl up in.

Shandy is great with people, she just enjoys a cuddles and that's it. She doesn't need a home with lots of long walks, a garden to potter around in and short walks would be perfect for this loving girl.

Shandy is very respectful of dogs and has a few little friends in the kennels. She could happily live with another dog but she'd probably suit a home with a less boisterous dog that won't interrupt her beauty sleep. She'd also be happy being a single pet.
Shandy is neutral to the cats she meets at kennels, she just ignores them so she can live with cats but don't expect her to play with them.

This girl needs an easy life, but we would like to find her a home with a family that can respect her space and peace. Therefore, we would prefer her to live in a home with adults only or teenagers if any that understand that she isn't a dog who wants a huge amount of fuss. Visiting children would be fine as long as they do not pester her or bother her and understand boundaries. She is not aggressive in the slightest, but we'd like to respect her peaceful personality.
