Meet Aron
For six years, Aron has known exactly where he belongs. Now, through nobody's fault, he's lost the only home he's ever known.
Aron's story began six years ago in a small village, where he and his sister were found as young puppies with nobody to care for them. A kind German couple took them in and brought them to safety. Unfortunately, their own German Shepherd couldn't accept sharing his home with the two puppies, so they found another way. They created a safe, enclosed area in their yard where Aron and his sister could live together, protected and cared for, with the promise that they would never have to return to life on the streets.
For six years, they kept that promise.
Aron grew up there alongside his sister, knowing the same surroundings and the same people throughout his life, then everything changed.
Sadly, the husband recently passed away and his wife had no choice but to return to Germany. Aron's sister has been fortunate enough to find a home, but Aron is still waiting. He's lost not only his sister, but the place and people that have represented safety and familiarity for his entire life. At 6 years old, Aron suddenly needs to start again.
Personality
Aron is a lovely boy who is ready for the opportunity to become part of someone's everyday life. He walks beautifully on the lead and would love to discover all the ordinary things that come with being a much-loved companion, regular walks, time with his people, a comfortable place to sleep and the routines of family life.
Because Aron has spent his whole life in the same environment, moving into a home will bring lots of new experiences. He'll need patience and understanding while he learns about his new surroundings and settles into a completely different way of life.
Aron's perfect home
More than anything, Aron needs stability. After six years of knowing the same place, the same sister and the same people, we'd love his next move to be the one that gives him somewhere permanent to belong. A family who will give him time to adjust, people who will show him that change doesn't have to mean losing everything, and a home where, for the first time, Aron can experience life not just alongside a family, but right at the heart of one.
For six years, some very kind people made sure Aron was safe. Now he needs someone to continue what they started, and promise him that he's safe for good.
