Meet Lilly
Lilly doesn't need a fancy life, she just wants someone to share it with.
Lilly is a wonderfully affectionate, people-loving girl whose favourite place is wherever her human happens to be. She's the sort of dog who finds happiness in the everyday things, a walk together, pottering around the garden, joining you on a little adventure or simply lying beside you while you drink your morning coffee.
For Lilly, it's not really about what you're doing. It's about doing it together.
Personality
Lilly is a loving, sociable girl who thrives on human company, she'll happily become your little furry shadow, following you around just to see what you're up to and settling nearby when there's nothing particularly exciting happening.
She's playful when it's time for fun but also knows how to switch off and relax. Lilly doesn't expect constant entertainment, she's perfectly content simply being beside her person and feeling included, and that's really the heart of Lilly, she doesn't want to watch family life from the sidelines.
Whether you're at home, in the garden, heading out for a walk or exploring somewhere new, she'd quite like to come too. If your workplace happens to welcome four-legged colleagues, we suspect Lilly would also take her responsibilities as official coffee-break companion very seriously.
Lilly's perfect home
Lilly would love a home where companionship is part of everyday life, she'd suit people who genuinely enjoy having their dog around and want a companion they can include in the ordinary rhythms of their day as well as the adventures.
She needs walks and playtime, of course, but she doesn't need life to be endlessly exciting, some of Lilly's favourite days could be the simplest ones. A walk together, coffee in the garden, a little trip somewhere new, then home to relax beside her favourite person. Lilly should be the only dog in the home but can socialise with other dogs outside of the home. Lilly can be territorial and protective of her own space which is something that will need to be managed by her adopters, so ideally we are looking for adopters with experience with this type of behaviour.
Lilly isn't looking for the most exciting life in the world, she's looking for a life where she's loved enough to be part of it.
