Meet Pikolo
At around 1–2 years old, Pikolo is a small Jack Russell-type boy with a sweet nature and a great fondness for people. He's friendly, easy-going and affectionate, gets along with dogs and cats, and is good with children too. Oh, and if you'd really like to win him over? Bring snacks.
Personality
Pikolo is a gentle, loving and people-friendly little dog who enjoys affection and being involved in what's going on around him. He's shown himself to be adaptable in different environments and generally takes things in his stride. He's also very food motivated and thoroughly appreciates a tasty treat, something that could come in rather handy when continuing his training.
Pikolo is still a young dog, so he'll benefit from continued guidance and opportunities to learn as he settles into family life.
Pikolo is a wonderfully sociable little boy, he's good with other dogs, both male and female, and could potentially share his home with a compatible resident dog.
He's also good with cats and has been good with children, making him a possible match for a range of different family set-ups. As with any adoption, introductions and the individual needs of everyone in the household would still need to be considered.
Pikolo's perfect home
Pikolo would love a home where he can be properly included in everyday family life. Walks, little adventures, playtime, training, affection and plenty of opportunities to spend time with his family.
He doesn't appear to need a particularly complicated set-up. What matters most is finding people who will give him the companionship, care and security he deserves and continue helping this young dog learn and develop. Whether that's sharing life with a family, another friendly dog, a cat or simply having his humans to himself, Pikolo has plenty of potential to become a wonderful little companion.
