Meet Ringo
Handsome, confident and already equipped with some very good manners, Ringo is ready to get back to family life.
Ringo is a gorgeous 3-year-old Labrador mix who found himself needing a new beginning after his life took an unexpected turn. He was found in a remote border area where he needed to be brought to safety. We know Ringo had a home and an owner previously, and it's clear from his behaviour that family life isn't completely new to him. Now this lovely boy is waiting for the chance to have that security again.
Personality
Ringo is a large, confident and affectionate boy who is comfortable around both men and women. He walks beautifully on the lead and responds well to basic commands, suggesting someone has invested time in his training in the past.
Out on walks, Ringo is calm and non-reactive around other dogs, he's happy walking in the presence of them and can enjoy group walks without needing to make a fuss about everyone he meets. In fact, Ringo has a lovely balance of confidence and composure that makes him a very enjoyable walking companion.
Ringo's perfect home
Ringo would thrive with an active household who can give him plenty of walks, attention and opportunities to be involved in everyday life. He could be very happy as the only dog, or potentially share his home with a compatible female dog.
While Ringo is generally neutral around other dogs when he's out and about, living with another confident adult male wouldn't be the right match for him.
He also needs a cat-free home.
Ringo already has some of the skills that can make the transition into family life that little bit easier, he walks nicely, knows basic commands and is accustomed to people. What he's missing is somewhere permanent to use them.
Ringo has known what it means to have a home before. Now we'd love to find him one he never has to lose again.
