Meet Tyra
If you've ever wanted to be someone's absolute favourite person, Tyra would like to volunteer for the position.
Tyra is a beautiful, confident young girl who absolutely adores people, and isn't particularly subtle about wanting their attention! She came into rescue as a puppy alongside her siblings, while others went on to find their homes, Tyra remained behind. As the months passed, that little puppy grew into the wonderful girl we know today: affectionate, confident, full of personality and still waiting for someone to choose her.
Personality
Tyra is people-orientated through and through, she loves attention, affection and being close to her humans. Given the opportunity, she'll happily become your personal shadow and make herself a very enthusiastic part of your everyday life.
She's confident, joyful and knows what she likes, and what Tyra likes most is her people.
She isn't looking for a family who simply has a dog, she wants to be part of the family.
Tyra is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, she can be bossy with other dogs and isn't a girl who particularly wants to share her home, her space or her humans with another animal. Importantly, that doesn't mean Tyra can't cope with seeing other dogs, she behaves well around them when she's out on walks and can enjoy her life without needing canine companions at home.
For Tyra, being the only pet means she can relax into exactly the role she'd choose for herself anyway: Chief recipient of all available attention.
Tyra's perfect home
Tyra needs people who want a dog to be a genuine part of their everyday lives, she'd love walks and adventures, plenty of attention and affection, and people who enjoy having a loyal little shadow nearby.
As a confident girl with plenty of personality, Tyra will thrive with people who appreciate her for exactly who she is while giving her the consistency and guidance every dog needs.
Most of all, she needs the one thing she's been waiting for since she was a puppy, someone to choose her. Her siblings got their chance to become somebody's dog, now Tyra is ready to be somebody's everything.
