Meet Fleur & Gogo
Two dogs, one very special friendship, and a forever home still waiting to be found.
Fleur and Gogo are a beautiful bonded pair, both around 3–4 years old and medium-sized, who are looking for a family willing to open their hearts and home to them together.
Fleur arrived at the rescue as the last surviving puppy from her litter, alongside her mother. Sadly, she has spent her life waiting for someone to choose her, and has never experienced the love and comfort of a home of her own.
Fleur has always been selective about the friendships she forms with other dogs. She doesn't give her trust away easily, and when she does form a close bond, it means something.
That's where Gogo comes in.
When they first met, Fleur wasn't immediately convinced! For about a week, she kept him at a distance, but Gogo was patient and gave her the space she needed. Gradually, she accepted his friendship, and they have since become incredibly close.
Today, the two are practically inseparable.
Their personalities
Fleur is a girl who likes to take her time getting to know other dogs. She isn't one to form friendships with everyone, but her relationship with Gogo shows just how strongly she can bond when she feels comfortable.
Gogo has proved himself to be a wonderfully patient companion to Fleur. His gentle persistence helped their friendship develop into the close relationship they now share.
Gogo has an old injury to one of his hind legs, which leaves him with a small, permanent limp that is noticeable from time to time.
Fleur & Gogo's perfect home
Fleur and Gogo are looking for a loving, understanding home where they can stay together and experience family life beyond the rescue.
Their ideal adopters will appreciate the special bond they share and be happy to give them the time, patience and reassurance they need as they adjust to an entirely new environment.
Having spent their lives in rescue, they will need a family prepared to introduce them gradually to the routines, sights and sounds of home life.
Most importantly, they need someone who sees them not as two separate dogs to adopt, but as two companions who have already found comfort and friendship in each other.
They've already chosen one another. Now they need someone to choose them both.
