Bruce

A little grey can be incredibly charming, especially when it belongs to a dog who has lived a full life and still has so much love to give. Bruce is one of those dogs. Older dogs often get overlooked, yet no one deserves to be left behind in their later years.
Bruce’s story is a sad one. His owner passed away, and the remaining family chose not to take responsibility for him. With nowhere to go, Bruce ended up on the streets, where he survived for approximately a year. He is estimated to be 6- 7 years old.
Bruce is currently safe in a shelter, where he is well fed, regularly walked, and cared for. He has quickly won hearts with his gentle presence and charming personality. He enjoys social settings, happily joins outings, and is known for being quite curious about treats -  including a certain peanut jar that never goes unnoticed.
Bruce would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can enjoy relaxed walks, social moments such as trips to the pub, and plenty of downtime to rest and recharge. He is well suited to a lifestyle that balances gentle activity with comfort.
He can share a home with a female dog. While he is generally good with male dogs, a mixed-gender household would be preferred. Experience with Labradors or similar breeds would be an advantage, as it would help ensure his needs are fully understood.
He is ready for a home where he can finally feel secure again and enjoy the companionship he lost.
Bruce is not asking for much - just a chance to belong again.
