Oliver
Oliver’s story is one we hear far too often, yet it never becomes any less heartbreaking. Witnesses told us he was abandoned in June '25 - left behind as a car drove away, never to return. For a long time after, Oliver stayed close to that very spot, waiting. Hoping his people might come back for him. They never did.
But Oliver didn’t give up, and neither did we. When we stepped in, we gave him a new name to mark a new beginning - a life where he would finally be safe, seen, and cared for.
Oliver is now around 1 year old, a small-sized boy who survived on the streets by being clever and cautious. He learned to avoid trouble, keeping his distance from bigger dogs, doing whatever it took to stay safe. That resilience has shaped him into a thoughtful, adaptable young dog.
Today, Oliver is a social and gentle companion who enjoys being around people and other dogs. He can live with both males and females, though he may especially enjoy the company of a small female dog or could equally thrive as the only pet in the home. He has not yet been tested with cats, but this can be arranged if needed.
Oliver is ready to leave his past behind and discover what it truly means to belong. With the right home, he will grow into a loyal and loving companion - one who will never stop appreciating the second chance he’s been given.
