Marley

Marley is a beautiful, gentle eight year old soul who is searching for a place to truly call home. He is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with his people. He loves long walks where he can explore the world at his own pace, and once the day winds down he is happiest curled up beside his humans, enjoying the comfort of simply being near them.

He has a sweet and thoughtful nature. Marley enjoys soft toys much more than balls and is especially happy when he has a stuffed Kong or a licking mat to keep him busy, as he is very food motivated. He knows several commands including sit, stay, stop, and patiently waits at the sidewalk before crossing the road. He is house trained and walks nicely on a leash.
During the past five years Marley has been part of two loving homes. Sadly, life sometimes brings changes that no one can control, and both families reached a point where they could no longer give him the time and stability he deserves. Through all of this Marley has remained the same affectionate and loyal companion, quietly hoping for a home where he can settle for good and feel safe again.
Marley is a dog who enjoys companionship but also values calm moments and a peaceful environment where he can relax. He is friendly with dogs he meets on walks or in the park, and he was the star at the doggy daycare. He also lived with another dog in the previous family and they had a bond.
He would do best with people who enjoy being active and can give him the regular walks he loves, along with the affection and patience that help him feel secure. A fully fenced and secure garden would allow him to safely enjoy outdoor time and relax in the fresh air.
More than anything, Marley deserves a family who will offer him stability, kindness, and a lifelong place by their side. He has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the right people to share it with.
