Casper
Casper was found recently when one of our UK admins was visiting Macedonia. He was on the streets when they were passing in a vehicle. He was looking confused and scared, all alone but happily rolled over onto his back for belly rubs when they called him over. This boy just got his ticket off the streets and into the rescue! Now it's his time to find a forever home.
Casper is approximately 2 years old and is a small sized boy, likely a Terrier mix.
He absolutely loves people and is so friendly with dogs too. He could happily live in a home with another resident dog, but also even as a single pet wrapping up all the attention! He would really enjoy playing dates with other dogs if living as a single dog in the home.
Casper could live with dog savvy kids of any age, he has been great with the rescuers children at the home kennels. He isn't too jumpy or pushy, but is still a young, excited dog.
Casper cannot live with cats as he has been trying to chase the ones at the kennels.
Even though Casper has only been with us for a short period of time, he is picking up walking on a lead very well - making us suspect he may have been a pet who was dumped. He is also learning crate training well and is now ready to travel to UK for a loving adopter.
In some photos, Casper has an ear tag. This will be removed before he is adopted. The ear tag is provided to stray dogs by the Public Shelters in Macedonia as an identification purpose for neutered and vaccination status. These do not hurt the animal and can easily be removed.
