Fern
Meet Fern, a tiny and truly special little girl who is ready to start a new chapter in her life.
Fern is around one year old, possibly even younger, and incredibly small in size, comparable to some of our cats. She came into rescue on a very cold, snowy day when she and two other small dogs were found on a mountain. We took them in because we genuinely feared they would not survive the freezing night conditions.
When Fern first arrived, her health was fragile, which was sadly expected considering the harsh environment she came from. With proper care, warmth, and attention, she has made a wonderful recovery and is now healthy, stable, and ready to become part of a loving family.
Fern currently lives in the shelter with three other dogs and many cats. She is accustomed to their presence and handles a mixed animal environment well. She is a gentle, sweet dog who would bring a lot of joy and affection into someone’s life.
She is crate trained and lead trained to an extent, and this training should be continued in her future home. She weighs around 4-5 kilos, making her an ideal companion for those looking for a small dog.
Fern is now ready to leave her difficult past behind and start a safe, happy life with someone who will cherish her.
