fleur
Fleur is a beautiful, fluffy, brindle girl, approximately 10 months old. Fleur has been with us for a few months, when one of our rescuers found her and her mum at the side of a road in a small kennel box. It looked like the mum had multiple puppies, but they had been hit by cars. Her mum looked like she wanted to give up, and had been through a really hard time. It wouldn't have been long before Fleur would have ended up the same, so we had to rescue her and her mum to avoid any more horrible circumstances.
Since then Fleur has been safe in our kennels, growing and enjoying the company of people greeting her. Fleur is very friendly, she loves to be around people and give them a kiss. Due to her age, and the likelihood that she's never lived in a home before, she will need basic training including lead walking, toilet training and basic manners. Fleur is very food motivated so training should be a breeze.
We are looking for a home for Fleur with no other dogs, and no visiting dogs either. Fleur is dog reactive, whilst we believe this can be worked on with 1-1 training we would prefer her to be separate from any dogs, at least for the start of her new life. Anyone that adopts Fleur ideally should be experienced in working with reactive dogs and committed to training her.
Due to her size and people friendly demeanor, we would consider a home for her with children aged 7+ however they must be dog savvy and understand that dogs require boundaries and patience.
Fleur is not to be homed with cats.
