Unlike many rescue dogs, Happy comes from an owner surrender where he was genuinely well socialized and cared for. He has been raised around children of all ages and has proven himself to be gentle, playful, and incredibly respectful in the home. Even around very young children, he is careful, not mouthy, and never pushy. He simply enjoys being included and close to his people.
Happy is wonderful with social interactions, both with humans and other dogs. He has no guarding behaviours, no issues around food, and is not a greedy eater. He is the kind of dog who wants to follow you around the house, be part of your day, and soak up all the love and attention you can give.
