Gus

Most dogs are found by the rescuers, but Gus found the rescurers! He ran to the gates of our kennels, how intelligent to know that is the place we would be saved? We obviously couldn't leave a pup who was brave enough to make it to us off his own accord.

Gus is approximately 5-6 months old, he will be large sized when fully grown. We don't know his history or why he ended up with us but we will keep him safe until his chance of a forever home arrives.

Even though he is a young puppy, Gus is very well mannered. He spends time with all aged and size dogs in the shelter. He is happy to play and socialise with any age or size dog and knows how to differently interact with different personalities. When he is told to calm down, he understands and lays down.
Gus is totally fine with the cats at the kennels too, so could happily live in a home with cats.
Gus could live in a home with children aged 5+, although as he grows he will become a large sized dog.

Please remember Gus is a young puppy, he will require committed, understanding owners who are prepared for training commitments including toilet training and continuing lead walk practice. Gusis really engaged with the minimal training we are able to provide.
