Horace

 Horace was found just before Christmas with his mum, Evelyn, and seven siblings. Evelyn had been abandoned and was trying to keep her newborn pups warm under a stairwell in freezing weather. With no funding but no way to leave them behind, we took the whole family into safety. 

Now at 1 year old, Horace and his siblings are ready to find their forever adopted homes. We know the mum is a Labrador mix (shown in the photos above), however we don't hand any information on the dad. We do however believe Horace will be large sized when fully grown - possibly a Labrador/Retriever mix. 

Horace can be a bit shy when he first meets you, but soon warms up to human affection, especially with treats!  He can be shy at first but warms up quickly, especially for treats. He’s improving with lead walking and will need committed adopters ready for puppy training, consistency, and patience. 

Horace gets on with the other dogs in the rescue kennel - not just his siblings so could happily live with another dog. This is not a requirement for him, he would also be fine as a single pet. He has not been cat tested, but this is possible to arrange if required for a suitable application. 

 Horace gets along with other dogs, could live with or without one, and can be cat-tested if needed. He has also been lovely with children at the rescue. Due to his future size and excitement, we recommend kids 6+.
